No, I'm using 6.1. No, I'm not using shared scope variables inside the
CFC that's why I'm having trouble caching the call to the config file.
I'm still having problems caching it using shared scope variables
outside the CFC, but that's probably a user defined bug, that I'm still
hunting down. I think your message was directed at me, if not, oops. :)

The issue is mostly likely that you are still using CFMX and not 6.1 --
the
"scope bug" was fixed in 6.1.  That said, you should avoid referencing
shared memory scopes directly in your CFCs.
