I've been using a couple few from Jakarta throughout a few projects and when traversing the Jakarta project I came across the BSF (Bean Scripting Framework). Has anyone attempted to call this within a cfm page and use another language to do anything 'inline'?
Can it be done?
I might be off on what it does in the whole 'sense' of things but from what I gather it will allow you to use the java api (jsp variables too?) from another language from within a .jsp page. Is a .cfm and coldfusion set up to alow for this? Or would I have to getPC.include() it a .jsp in in order to do what I'm trying.
Basically has anyone tred to import BSF from within a coldfusion page? Can it be done?
I've heard several mentions of 'ecma script' style scripting wanted throughout the years when it came to <cfscript>. Personally I think this would be bad ass. Then again, I'm always in the 'doghouse' because the wife seems to think I have too much time on my hands..
Cheers, Robby
