Hi Jeff,

I tried if from inside my code and it works !
I got an array with 113 items.

Since its working from my code, the problem is not with the CFC  itself, but rater with your CF configuration.
Try refreshing or deleting the webservice from the CF admin ... also, are you using the 6.1 ?

Regards,
Marc

Ahh, I found the extraneous code.  I'm still having problems invoking it
directly from CF as:
<cfinvoke
  webservice="http://radio.tapper.net/artist.cfc?wsdl"
  method="getSongs"
  returnvariable="aObjectArray">
         <cfinvokeargument name="artist" value="beatles"/>
</cfinvoke>

Its still throwing this error:
Web service operation "getSongs" with parameters {artist={beatles},} could
not be found.

Am i missing something basic here?
