Subject: RE: [CFCDev] two CFC bad practices...The FarCry project by Daemonite is complex, CFC based, and open source. I haven't looked at the code beyond a few tweaks from the first OS release to make it work on MySQL. I don't know if it's layered as you want, but it'll certainly provide a look behind the scenes at a complex CFC-driven app.cheers,barneyb-----Original Message-----

Has anyone built or know of a publicly available sample app that actually uses CFCs in a domain/logic layer? As opposed to just wrappers around DB tables like Matt describes. Maybe something like a pet store app? I've seen the mach-ii site. But all their examples seem to be real simple. In the real world you probably wouldn't want to create a domain/logic layer for something this simple, right? And this isn't a known on mach-ii by any stretch. I'm just looking for an example w/ some depth if one is available...

There
is a version of the PetMarket app on macromedia.com that uses CFC's. Look in the
CF dev center, it's an HTML only version, not the flash RIA petmarket app
(yes there are 2 up there).
