If a jr level coder makes a typo I would rather they get a ColdFusion error than an Oracle error so I tried to standardize the queries and have the coders interact with the CFCs. I didn't say it was the greatest idea I ever had, but I believe it will help.
In CF Studio 5 I asked the jr level people to build queries with Query Builder to avoid typos- don't have that in DWMX04.
