Well I've made progress - I've got ImageJ up and running but it fails on
writing text onto an image. I'm running RedHat 8.x on an x86 machine.

What I'm getting is java.awt.HeadlessException.

I'm guessing that there's something missing - like font outlines - to do the
rendering with. Anyone know this one or have a suggestion?

Jeff
