I like to break things up, so I have a DAO, GATEWAY, and SCHEMA folder where their respective cfcs live. I also organize my closet....so take it with a grain of salt.

It seems it could be easier to manage the business and data access objects knowing they were always next to each other. But it also seems it could be easier to secure the data access layer from other layers by having it in its own folder. Any real world thoughts on whether it matters?
