Interesting Matt. Working on something similar for Flash (memory & LSO
stashes) at the moment. What are you going to use as the criteria for
determining a full cache?
Right now there is an abstract implementation of the stash interface 
that tracks the total number of objects in the cache and the total size 
in bytes of the cache. It is my assumption that a concrete 
implementation of the stash interface would extend the abstract 
implementation and set some limits on object count and/or cache size.
