Thanks everyone for the response to this. The xPath tools, and comments really helped. I am finally entering the 90s I guess =) I have one last question. Does CFMX (have the capability) or is there a Java class exist that I can use to validate an .XML against a DTD? And a follow up question is, are there any tools that can generate a DTD from an XML doc?
