Doing a <cfreturn this> at the end of the init() means you can chain
method calls like follows:
myObj = createobject("component", "myComponent").init();
If the init() call didn't return "this" at the end you'd have to do the
above in two steps:
myObj = createobject("component", "myComponent");
myObj.init();
