CFUnit was never intended to be a literal port of JUnit. Rather, it is a simplified interpretation of the JUnit project intended to introduce ColdFusion developers to the concept of unit testing. The goal was to provide a very simple but functional implementation and some examples. CFUnit has actually inspired a few different projects at this point, which I think is great (this one certainly appears to be the most sophisticated). I agree with Matt that a common open source unit testing project would be an asset to the ColdFusion community.


I wish I could attend your lecture, Paul. It sounds like it's going to be very interesting.
