Hopefully someone out here has a solution or example. I was writing some java to extend CF a little more, and came across something that I can't seem to figure out the right approach.
The tagLib that I am creating needs to hit the DB, I was originally using the ODBC connection but found this not the right way to go. So as I don't have JDBC drivers that would connect to any SQL server or Access database etc. I thought I would use the macromedia drivers, whoops invalid licence. So, is it possible to leverage of these drivers within CF using java. Admittedly I was using it in an application for now and will try to do it in a taglib, but for now has anyone attempted to do this and if so do you have an example for me to look at for inspiration.
