What I'm still a bit fuzzy on are the hooks into a CFC backend and the leveraging of CF's session management.
Remoting calls do invoke Application.cfm which can enable session management using <cfapplication> so it 'just works'.
If I were to instantiate a session scoped CFC instance would this continue
to be available on subsequent requests from that client? If so, how?
The remoting gateway takes care of this in its negotiations with the Flash client so that CF sessions work as expected.
