I could not agree more. But the question is: is
there a way around it ?
Does anybody know of a viable solution or not
? Cand you at least set mappings dynamically ? Can it be done or you're stuck
with the admin ?

I agree as well - however there's a big difference between
setting an "extends" attribute as a variable and setting it as a relative
path.
I think the latter should be possible, but not the
former.
The absolute biggest issue with CFCs in my mind is their
totally inflexible discovery process. Basically if you don't got
admin, you can't really use CFCs.
