I understand this is a problem, but the directory tree given seemed to imply this was not the case:
- SITEROOT
- COM
- SITE
- myCFC.cfc
- pageToCallCFC.cfm
- CONTENT
- anotherPageToCallCFC.cfmIf by "CONTENT" he means webroot, then yes, this is a problem. But then why is there a page outside of the webroot?
I've found this to
be a problem on shared hosting servers, for instance, where your "web root"
isn't even on the same drive as CF, and you have no access to the CF
Administrator or to the CF web root.
You lost me here--how can you do any web development if you don't have access to your web root? The only thing that matters in the setup I gave is your site's webroot, not the wwwroot directory installed with CF...
