How I have done it...
It is actually not too different from any other requests. A bean is
created with the other form fields, and one of the first things in
handling the form submission is to do the cffile upload, then I store
the filename and file information in the bean, I think I have done that
as a struct in the bean, with all the file information.

| Subject: [CFCDev] Mach-ii: File manipulation
|
| Since I'm on a Mach-ii kick today, I hope noone minds a
| second question
| :)
|
| Almost every app I create has to deal with file manipulation,
| especially file uploads. How have Mach-ii developers dealt
| with this, as I usually put this type of code in a form
| action page? I do have the code for an UploadFile() method
| which works from within a CFC, but I always do error checking
| in the action page (to see if the file actually uploaded.)
|
| Thanks!
