Awesome. Thanks. Now I suppose the answer to the following question relies on the DB type in question but, in the event the app server is shutdown (or hardware failure, whatever) does the db typically drop the transactions once the connection is lost from the app server?

I have a system that does exactly this same thing. I have files containing multiple orders. I open the file, start a transaction and then call CFC methods for each order then end the transaction. If any order errors out, the entire batch is rolled back.
