I submitted an Enhancement Request for an official JavaDoc-like stynax, as I agree with you that the "hint" attribute can be annoying if I want to give more than a one or two line explanation. I'm not sure if that'll ever happen, but maybe you could go to the wish list and submit something similar if you agree?
