Which bits are slow for you ?
I just got the webHome topic up in 5 seconds (tested with wget from my office 
connection).

Yes, and for obvious reasons, PHP is a lot slower than Perl, in general isn't 
it :-)
I see it uses a database backend, which may explain things...

I'm currently looking at different Twiki skins, some of which are very nice, 
as well as a better logo (anyone wanna have a stab at this ?).
