You are correct; a plugin would provide a way to do this as long as I was
willing to have the location of the "manager" CFC hardcoded, which is
probably an acceptable compromise. Of course, every plugin is called on each
event, so adding plugins should really be avoided. Hopefully that will be
fixed in future versions of Mach-II.
