I have to jump in here just to say that I do think Sean was joking at this point. His original posting of this comment was "You'll never work for me so it really doesn't matter if you want to commit such atrocities! :)". I don't think it was a statement of his status "You'll never work for me!", but more a to-the-point "your choices don't affect me, so do what you want".
Otherwise, I for one am enjoying the interplay of ideas here.
