For what it’s worth that “300,000”
was “current” at least four years ago (it’s the number
Macromedia was using to defend the purchase of Allaire). Since sales and
downloads of ColdFusion (according to Macromedia) have been steadily increasing
I can only guess that that number is higher now. I believe the original statement was in Macromedia’s
stockholder’s information packet the year they bought Allaire –
