Can you access the WSDL through a browser?

http://sitename/servicename/service.cfc?WSDL

If you can do that, then the WS should be accessible.

Subject: [CFCDev] Error trying to access webservice wsdl

Hi

I'm currently in the process of deploying a webservice to our
production server - this works fine in development/testing/staging.
However on our production server I get the following error

Fault - [coldfusion.util.RuntimeWrapper : The filename, directory
name, or volume label syntax is incorrect][java.io.IOException : The
filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect]; nested
exception is:
        coldfusion.xml.rpc.CFCInvocationException:
[coldfusion.util.RuntimeWrapper : The filename, directory name, or
volume label syntax is incorrect][java.io.IOException : The filename,
directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect]

I have checked permissions etc. a html/.cfm file in the same directory
can be accessed without a problem.

Running out of things to check, any help would be appreciated

Thanks
