Let me suggest you scoot over to topica.com and join the Tartan
mailing list. I also suggest you check out tartanframework.org.

Tartan is a service-layer framework for CFMX 6.1 and 7 that supports
both localServices native to CFMX and automatically extends those
services to both FLASH and SOAP clients. It's an amazing little piece
of work by my friend Paul Kenney and sounds like the custom fit for
your needs.

I've written most of what docs are available (albeit they need
updating...) so I'll answer any Tartan questions you have.
