I never said it was a good idea--I just said that's how it's being done. I
have a lot of re-organizing/re-structuring to do and moving production &
development to different instances is one of the plans.

I was looking for a "in the mean time" approach I could take well trying to
tie in a new chunk of code into the old infrastructure.
