header if I remember correctly. I should point out that is a bug in how
CF MX6.1 and MX7 process getPageContext.forward(). I blogged the entry
last February:

According to that blog entry, the bug in 6.1 is FIXED in 7 so this is
not "a bug in how ... MX7 process getPageContext.forward()"...

Me again... However, one "could" argue the MX7 has the bug if you've unknowingly relied on the bug in MX6.1 or vice-versa.
Poke me with a stick... ;-)

I just wanted to say that reliance on forward() could cause some unexpected problems if you upgrade from 6.1 to 7.  This actually happened to me with one line of code in a mach-ii plugin I wrote when testing it in MX7 (however, I have since implemented a better solution by clearing the event queue and announcing a new event).

Definitely agree with that. Why go to the trouble of dealing with all
this stuff manually when you can pick a framework and get a great head
start?

I second my initial suggestion.... [smiles - if only I could get two votes...] ;-)
