All good points, and ones that I had considered (well: most of them), but I was puzzled as to how the CFC Explorer always "got it right".
But the CFC Explorer works out the "correct" path BEFORE the CFC is instantiated, so the CFC still never knows, It just reports back what it's been told. Pity. But it's something I was scratching my head over (not scratching very hard, but scratching nevertheless), and now I know. So that's my quota sorted for "learning something every day" sorted.
