Hello All, I recall some discussion in the past on this topic, but i wanted to get the lowdown, so to speak.
I'm using cfml 6.1 for J2EE, deployed in a clustered weblogic environment. I use the J2EE session option in the cfmx admin (so, as i understand it, cf sessions are nested inside J2EE sessions) and weblogic pools these j2ee sessions across the various nodes in the cluster. My question relates to whether or not i can safely put cfc instances in the session scope. I seem to remember some discussion about how cfc instances couldn't be serialized and so couldn't be replicated along with the rest of the session. That's not too bad as far as i'm concerned, since sessions are sticky, but i'm more worried about cf throwing an error as soon as i try to put the instance in the session in a clustered environment. My dev environment is a single node cluster, or else i would just test this directly. anyone does anything like this? any thoughts or gotchas? thanks in advance, /t ---------------------------------------------------------- You are subscribed to cfcdev.
