This is definitely off-topic. But I also agree that there are many objects which follow a general pattern. Because of this their creation can be highly templated. Jon Block's Bean Creator (http://cpmx.jonathanblock.com/bean.cfm) is a great example of this. Because I found his creator so useful, I reimplemented it for easy installation on private servers (that way you can edit the code to reflect the intricacies of your work environment).

This worked out well for me, and the bean creator started to grow. Now the bean creator creates Beans, DAOs, and TestUnits (from CFCUnit). I have been trying to get the code up on cfopen.org, but I am having trouble importing the module into their CVS system. So, I have attached the code to this post. I hope this doesn't stray to far from the purpose for this list.
