What you are talking about here is exactly what you can do with COAL. 
You can download COAL, take all of the services that come with it out,
and put your own components in.  You can change the public methods in
the coal.cfc to remote and then you will have a single point of entry.
 The only difference in COAL and what you are talking about is that
COAL will return the entire object to you and you store that in a
variable in your actionscript and then you can call the methods on
that object directly.  But it does have the single point of entry for
finding and instantiating your components.

Now I have not actually done it with actionscript yet, but In theory,
it should work just like that.
