What version of CF/DateDirect drivers are you using? This error was
commonly thrown when the account was within the password expiry grace
period. (Where SQL*Plus and other clients would prompt 'You password
will expire in x days', CF threw a Net8 error.) The issue was fixed in
the latest DataDirect drivers.
