I have a bit of a complex situation so maybe you guys (and gals) can help. I’ve posted on this before but I still haven’t been able to get my code to work and I through I’d send and update and see if anyone had any input. I need to access a web service which is located behind a security domain and I just can’t figure out how to make it happen in ColdFusion.

I was referenced to this article.

It kind of puts me on the right track but I still need some guidance.

I can access files through the security domain like this

<cfhttp url="" method="get">

<cfhttpparam name="Cookie" value="cookie value here" type="header">

</cfhttp>

Will return me any file I request in that domain. I’ve successfully used this method to grab the wsdl file I need. Considering that I need to pass this cookie value in the header of the request. I’m not sure if I can consume the web service using createObject(‘webservice’,’blah’) because without the header information the request to the web service gets bounced and will throw an exception. I think that I should be able to create soap packets manually and send them via cfhttp post but is there a way that I can consume the web service the normal coldfusion way given the security that I have to deal with?
