I was in this position about 4 or 5 months ago. I was looking not only
for Flash Remoting support but something to help me take control of
all the facade and service/manager classes I had. I evaluated Tartan
and ColdSpring. Being a java guy I ended up going to with ColdSpring
because it fit exactly how my services were developed. Tartan was
pretty slick though since it handled mapping CFC to AS 2.0 classes
which is a featured I wanted. So I used Tartan's code as a guide and
wrote a generic service CFC which can do the translation for a given
CFC to a AS 2.0 object and vis versa. I hoping to get included with
ColdSpring soon.
