OK... that is why I asked ... not stated that you were saying people were
trash. Thanks for clarifying that... the original post didn't seem to say
the same thing to me.

I am not accusing you of being republican. Speaking of not making
connections... let's just say this. That was your way of expressing what you
understood. Like my comment about trash. I don't thing in a forum like this
we are trying to put words in each others mouths. Rather we are asking...
"is this what you were saying?" (NO not saying you are republican... unless
you want to serve on the Supream Court... heard Bush is having problems
finding good candidates!") I didn't say anything about your family's
background... that is stretching my statement also.

I don't like how Wal-Mart does business on a whole. I don't think there are
as many jobs in an area with one big store sucking life out of several small
businesses. Grocery stores close, hardware stores close, etc. When it is all
said and done the new jobs at these locations pay less. Even if the end
product was more jobs... the average pay has dropped. It also sucks revenue
from smaller towns to the bigger city which raises taxes in the rural areas
even higher. Thus it tends to push the poorer deeper into the cities to find
work where they can afford housing. (Poverty cycle... this is my take.)

Again... KUDOS on your previous and ongoing projects. I respect you deeply
for your contributions and my post was to say that the way you expressed it
didn't add up. That is why the comment was posed as a question about people
with poor credit.

On the subject that the good shop is the one the drives the bad shop out of
business. I lived in Maine when BASS shoes went to China. In fact so many
shoe companies were driven out of business that they started special
programs for the displaced shoe industry workers to retrain. (Note... bet
some of them ended up with bad credit.) My shoes used to last longer and my
dollar lasted better with American made shoes of that era. Alas, and
contrary to you generalized statement... it was not better for the common
good of Americans. (Again... this is my outlook. You can call me by what
ever political grouping you choose... heh. You will likely not guess the
right one anyway!)

Now what is it about this Gibson guy. Seems to me that real men would know
the role model is definitely Harrison Ford. If you don't believe it ask my
wife!

Have a great day... (boy... this has been an interesting day!)
