I have a graphic designer friend who builds static websites for different
clients. And even when you go static you often still need a minimum amount
of coding to at least: include top/bottom, trim down navigation with IFs, or
send a simple contact form to an email...
Well this friend of mine has been slaving for a week trying to do these
things in ASP, especially the mailer, and having a rough time. I finally
just told him to do it in CF. Within 1 day, he had converted his entire site
from ugly-ass ASP to pretty CF and now knows more CF than ASP. I got to
witness the power first-hand!
Just thought I'd share that...
