Whether or not ASP allows it HTML does. So even if ASP didn't you could
just use single quotes in your HTML. ;^)

I do as well. I've never done PHP but this technique is almost a necessity
in JavaScript (there is no "line continued" operator in JS).
But of course none of this is as simple to understand (for non programmers)
as:

<table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0">
<tr valign="top">
<td><b>#name#</b></td>
</tr>
</table>
</cfmail>
