OS-X box or Linux (pick your flavour) hosted on a DSL would do nicely. If you have a dynamic IP as most DSL users do you can use dynalias.net in order to resolve a domain name
to the IP on the fly. While there are challenges to building and running your own *NIX server
there are also major benefits; such as complete control over the environment to
name but one. If the site is a production system then perhaps co-location on
