My problem is that when you create an java object to java.lang.system
and you dump the variable you see that java.io.tmpdir points to a other
temp directory than getTempdirectory() does. This doesn't not help me
very much. I couldn't figure out why this is.

I use IIS on win2k with cfmx 7.0.1

not sure how much this helps but you can use the GetTempDirectory()
function - on windows it will return the jrun temp directory. What
platform are you on?
