David, I am not sure what you mean exactly, since I am new to SOAP and web services. As far as I can tell, the ASP page is the web service. There is stuff in the code that I need to be dynamic, and would like it to be CF so that me and many of my co-workers will be able to better understand how the file works. If I use CF to just consume the ASP page (if that is what you are talking about), then I don't get any real benefit over how it works now.
Forgive me if I am totally off-base on understanding you. Nevertheless, I will be looking into this "consuming web service" that you speak of. ......................
