I am just noticing this thread...

I have noticed the spam's coming from [EMAIL PROTECTED] If
you change the owner of this to a different address, and block emails
from cfcdev-owner from sending to the listserv, you should see this
stopping.

I also use Mailman for the Cleveland CFUG and MMUG (now AUG)
listservs. Although i haven't seen the same problem, both lists get a
LOT of spam attempts (100+ per week per list) that don't make those
lists that I still have to deal with behind the scenes... very
annoying and time consuming, since I have to individually remove each
one from the pending request list.

A little suggestion if the spam gets under your skin one day ... i
actually have a lot of fun with this

Once in awhile, i pick a spam email that gets through, copy the domain from
the From address, the one that the spammer impersonated, and take a quick
peek at the site.

It changes the whole thing around for me, cuz i get to meet some sweet
people through it hidden in the enormity of the internet, in a very random
way.
