Project/Position Overview:
Our client needs to implement several UI and feature upgrades to
an existing eCommerce Website over the next couple of months. The code base
was originally developed for ColdFusion 4.5 and ported to CFMX. We are going
to bring on one or two additional resources to assist with this increased
workload. The successful candidates will tasked with make changes that range
from simple UI (HTML/CSS) changes to more complex modifications to the
checkout tunnel.
We are fairly flexible about the working hours, but expect the candidate to
work onsite for the majority of the project. The candidate will be expected
to have a "get it done" attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Required Skillsets:
Intermediate ColdFusion
* Be able to navigate code templates linked w/ includes
* Be able to use CFIF, CFLOOP, CFOUTPUT, CFQUERY, CFINCLUDE, CFDUMP
* Familiarity w/ ColdFusion Structures (or the concept of
Associative Arrays)
Expert HTML/CSS
* Be able to code a table-less HTML page
* Identify & Segment Conceptual Page Elements w/ DIV's
* Identify global CSS classes and add them to an external stylesheet
Intermediate Javascript
* Be able to debug Javascript errors
* Be able to access form elements and write simple validation code
* Familiarity with JQuery would be nice
Intermediate SQL
* Be able to pull data from the database and loop through a
recordset in coldfusion
* Be able to apply simple inner joins
