Actually, I asked Ben Forta about the Ajax support in CF8 when he was doing
his roadshow and he said that the Ajax components are not built with Spry.
He didn't get into why they weren't using it, but my guess was because it
was still in Beta.

 Hello,

We use prototype.js, still on the "older" version (1.4).

If this only for use with a cf backend, and if you are planning on
upgrading to CF8 when it comes out (so already two ifs), i'd say at least
look at Spry because loads more support will come built in...

Hey all -

So I'm wonder how many people are using AJAX in this group and what you're
using.

I'm using dojo right now and have done a few simple things with it on the
site, but am looking at doing a full application with AJAX.

Has anyone used Prototype? I've been told it's #1, but I hear the same
about dojo. Right now I'm finding dojo a little cryptic, despite the few
'starter guides'.

I'm initially looking for reasonable learning curve and loose coupling.

Thanks for your time,
