You are not alone - and it's worth pointing out that what Simonyi had
in mind when he proposed a prefix-based naming convention was to relay
*semantics* not implementation. So-called Hungarian notation as it is
commonly used today is not what he wanted!

For me, the most important aspect of naming is to make the code read
like English and silly abbreviated prefixes just make that impossible.
