Factors aside from what "people" (quoting Daniel Jasper) do, as a new committer, I presuppose that suggestions of experienced reviewers are in accordance with custom, and this was specifically requested, so I did it. ( http://reviews.llvm.org/D10609)
Clearly this is an area where guidelines for use of clang-format should be more clearly articulated if there is such fodder for discussion out of what I didn't anticipate being a controversial change.
