Hi, the attached patch hooks up -fno-pic, -fno-PIC, -fno-pie, and -fno-PIE. With this, clang no longer emits "ignoring unknown option -fno-pic" if that option is passed in, and it also no longer emits pic code on targets where this is on by default.
I did the same for -fno-pie and -fno-PIE which were silently ignored before. Ok? Nico
