hans added a comment. If we think the symbol/string table size increase is acceptable for most user's, I suppose Chromium could just do
-D_LIBCPP_HIDE_FROM_ABI=_LIBCPP_ALWAYS_INLINE to get back the old behaviour and unblock us? And this could also be suggested in the release notes as a work-around for large projects that don't want the size increase?
