CMT appears to be more significant. I do not have exact numbers right now as my build box is busy, but the change added like an hour to locally building the Chromium browser with ThinLTO optimizations enabled. Win10 running on a 32-core Opteron Piledriver (bdver2) system. Definitely agree something like "/opt:lldltojobs=all" in a separate patch would be a good solution if possible for this particular (corner) case.
