Jonathan, I think what you are asking for is already supported.
I added an unittest to confirm it.
EXPECT_TRUE(matches("char *p = 0;",
implicitCastExpr(hasCastKind(CK_NullToPointer))));
If I misunderstood your comment, could you provide an example.
