That's very unreasonable, as this means that you cannot use the `-llvm` variant 
with any standard installation of ROCm for probably a year. We already have a 
function that does this for the same reason, and I'd really like to be able to 
actually use this feature. We *should* stop hard coding it in the runtime, but 
we can do that independently of being able to actually use it. As it stands, 
you literally *cannot* run any HIP program with any existing HIP runtime if you 
use this triple.
