Well unfortunately I couldn't get the code that Bob posted to work, but after doing
some digging, and many tests, I finally got this code to work as found at:
http://cfhub.com/forum/index.cfm?FuseAction=Thread&TopicID=962&CFID=50513&CFTOKEN=2609387

-------BEGIN CODE-------

<cfset crlf = chr(13)&chr(10)>

<!--- Send the messages --->
<CFMAIL To="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" From="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" Subject="test 8-1">

<cfmailparam name="Content-type"
value='multipart/alternative;boundary="----MIME-BOUNDARY----"'>
<cfmailparam name="MIME-Version" value="1.0">

------MIME-BOUNDARY----#crlf#Content-Type: text/plain;
charset=us-ascii#crlf#Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit#crlf##crlf#
<!--- begin plain text version --->
Test

------MIME-BOUNDARY----#crlf#Content-Type: text/html;
charset=us-ascii#crlf#Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit#crlf##crlf#
<!--- begin html version --->
<h1>Test</h1>

<p>
<font color=red>
Test
</font>
</p>

</cfmail>
-------END CODE-------
